Eligibility Criteria

Passed Class 8th

Trades: Welder, Dress Making (1-year courses)

Passed Class 10th

Trades: Electrician, Fitter, Electronics, MMV, RAC, Wireman, Surveyor

Age Limit

Minimum 14 years as on 1st August of admission year

Maximum Age

40 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Govt. norms)

Nationality

Indian citizen / West Bengal domicile preferred

Physical Fitness

Medically fit as required for the chosen trade

Documents Required

1 Class 8th / 10th Marksheet (original + photocopy)

2 Transfer Certificate from previous school

3 Caste Certificate — SC/ST/OBC (if applicable)

4 Income Certificate (for scholarship)

5 West Bengal Domicile Certificate

6 Aadhaar Card (original + photocopy)

7 Passport size photographs — 6 copies

8 Medical Fitness Certificate

9 Bank Account Passbook (for scholarship)

10 Mobile number & email ID (active)

Click "New Registration" and fill your personal details. Keep your mobile number handy for OTP verification

Fill Application Form

Enter your academic details, choose preferred institute (Government ITI Tapan) and trade

Upload Documents

Upload scanned copies of all required documents in the specified format and size

Pay Application Fee

Pay the nominal application fee online through net banking / UPI / debit card

Submit & Take Printout

Submit the form and take a printout of the filled application for future reference
