Best Practices Adopted for Training

NSQF-Aligned Curriculum
Training is conducted as per the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) to ensure industry-relevant, standardised learning outcomes.
Industry Linkage
Regular interaction with industry partners for guest lectures, industry visits and on-the-job exposure to bridge the gap between training and real-world application.
Practical-First Approach
Minimum 60% of training time is dedicated to practical workshop sessions to ensure hands-on skill development over theory-based learning.
Competency-Based Training
Training is designed around competency modules with measurable outcomes, enabling students to demonstrate work-readiness upon completion.
Continuous Assessment
Regular internal assessments, skill tests and mock examinations to track student progress and identify areas requiring additional support.
NIMI Learning Resources
Use of National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI) books, e-content and model question papers for standardised learning.
Entrepreneurship Development
Dedicated sessions on entrepreneurship, self-employment and business communication to encourage students to become job creators.
Apprenticeship Guidance
Active guidance for students to register under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 for post-training on-the-job training with industry.
Digital Literacy Integration
Basic digital literacy, computer skills and awareness of e-governance services integrated into training programmes.
Safety Training

Participation of Female Trainees

Government ITI Tapan actively promotes gender inclusivity and women's participation in technical vocational education. The institute follows all DGT and State Government directives for creating a safe, supportive and empowering environment for female trainees.
